TotalEnergies: Brulpadda Drilling Campaign

The Brulpadda campaign marked Afrishore's first appointment as offshore supply base operator, under the direction of TotalEnergies.

The mandate covered operation of the Mossel Bay offshore supply base in support of the initial Brulpadda drilling campaign. TotalEnergies' operational standards, logistical methodologies and supply base disciplines were transferred to Afrishore over the course of the campaign and applied directly in the running of the base.

The proof of that transfer came at close-out: Afrishore performed a turnkey demobilisation of the campaign out of the Port of Cape Town, executed to the standards established during the operation, with zero safety-related incidents across the project.

The disciplines established on that first appointment became the operating template for every Afrishore supply base since – including the base behind the 2018–2019 campaign that delivered the Brulpadda discovery.
